What a wonderful day!  Esther taught our group of seasoned Israel travelers new things about the country and the wine industry. We learned so much, but most of all we had fun!  We cannot thank My Israel Wine Tours enough.

To call what Esther Cohen is doing as simply a “wine tour” would not be doing justice to what she has managed to accomplish in Israel’s nascent wine tour industry. It would be more fitting to call her efforts something akin to a “wine experience”.

Extremely attentive, well prepared and knowledgeable; the care and detail with which she organized our two days of tours was apparent from her eagerness to make sure the we were enjoying ourselves and engaged at all times.

Esther has managed to exploit the shortcomings of the wine tour industry in Israel, and to her testament is doing a great service to the wine industry by exposing people to the wonders of Israel's various wine regions.

Having never tasted Israeli wines beyond the paltry offerings of “kosher” wines in the US, it came as a total shock to discover such high quality wines being produced in Israel. I would not in a million years have believed that some of the wines we tasted were from Israel had I not seen it with my own eyes. In a blind taste test, you could just as easily confuse Israeli wines with offerings from Australia, California or the Rhone region of France.

Bottom line: if you love wine and if you are going to be in Israel, make sure you add My Israel Wine Tours and a visit to Israel’s wine regions to your itinerary.

My family really enjoyed our trip to the Tishbi and Somek wineries, the pleasant stop at the Rothschild botanical gardens, and the wall to wall tourists in Zichron Yaakov.  Your planning enabled us to see a big winery (Tishbi, 1MM bottles per year) and compare it with a small winery (Somek, 10K bottles per year), which gave us all a good picture of the diversity of the Israeli wine industry.  We also got a real taste of the difference between American Oak and French Oak wines.  The food at Tishbi was excellent, as were the wines in both locations.  You were kind enough to answer all our questions, and to make sure the tour was unhurried, educational, and fun.  Thanks for making this part of our trip to Israel such a success.

We had such a lovely day with Esther! She was so accommodating and taught us so much. If only she could have accompanied us throughout the rest of our trip through Israel!

PHENOMENAL DAY. Absolutely 5 star+ tour of the Carmel Region wineries. Esther took care of every aspect of organizing our day, from giving us a price breakdown to organizing transportation from and to each winery. The highlight for me was visiting Motty's boutique Smadar Winery, but it was all fabulous, and at an amazing price. Can't beat it. Incredible way to spend a day, and Esther is a wonderful tour guide. Perfect day.

Today definitely stands out as one of the most memorable things I've done in Israel. Esther was so knowledgeable and friendly, and brought us to some incredibly beautiful places. The tour was as much about the people as the wine, as Esther introduced us to the entire Tishbi family, as well as Motty, who is a one-man show at the tiniest winery I've ever been to. Hearing him explain why he continues to make just 5,000 bottles a year (of incredible wine I might add—try the flagship blend) rather than expand and go commercial, was truly inspiring. I cannot recommend this tour enough!
