-For our guests staying in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, popularity is closely connected to proximity. From Jerusalem, the Judean Hills are your best bet, allowing for guest to do our very fun and tasty themed tours, ‘Zionism and Zinfandel’, ‘Crusaders and Cabernet’ or ‘Christianity and Chardonnay’ (excellent for visiting Monasteries off the ‘beaten path’) and of course, Kosher Tours. You can also stick to just the wineries as we take in some of the best like, Tzura, Tzuba, Agur, Yaffo, Castel or Flam to name just a few. The Judean Hills offers guest a more scenic and rural appeal with many of the vineyards surrounding the wineries.
From Tel Aviv you can chose from the Judean Hills options above, or go north for the Carmel. The Carmel is a great way to take in the scenery and the fantastic town of Zichron Yaakov where the story of Israeli wine begins. The choice of restaurants is more ample as well if you’re keen on a certain culinary style. Here you can look down on the Mediterranean Coast from above and explore wineries such as Somek, Tishbi, Alona, Solomon, Binyamina and Smadar.
While a little farther, the Galilee is also an option from Tel Aviv.
For guests looking to get out to the Golan Heights or Negev Dessert, we recommend a two-day tour which lets you get out beyond the center of the country and really reach out into nature. The Negev is typically combined with the Judean Hills tour, while the Golan can be conjoined with the Galilee or Carmel.
Guests of Haifa or the North can access the Golan for a single day tour, as well as the Carmel and Galilee.
