Today I toured Mark and gang to the Tishbi Winery, Smadar Winery and Carmel Winery.

They arrived from Tel Aviv to Binyamina Train station where I met them for a day of fun.  We then drove to the Tishbi Winery and enjoyed bread, wine jellies, of course wine and a detailed tour of the process of wine making.

After Tishbi Winery, to sober up, we took a nice stroll around Ramat HaNadiv.  The highlight for everyone was enjoying the simple pleasures and life of Motty from Smadar Winery.  We had an intimate tour and tasting with Motty where he explained the history of his family and how he puts all his love into his work.

We finished the day around 4:30 at the Carmel Winery drinking from their Private Collection Series at the cafe.  Wine was enjoyed by all!

PHENOMENAL DAY. Absolutely 5 star+ tour of the Carmel Region wineries. Esther took care of every aspect of organizing our day, from giving us a price breakdown to organizing transportation from and to each winery. The highlight for me was visiting Motty's boutique Smadar Winery, but it was all fabulous, and at an amazing price. Can't beat it. Incredible way to spend a day, and Esther is a wonderful tour guide. Perfect day.

Today definitely stands out as one of the most memorable things I've done in Israel. Esther was so knowledgeable and friendly, and brought us to some incredibly beautiful places. The tour was as much about the people as the wine, as Esther introduced us to the entire Tishbi family, as well as Motty, who is a one-man show at the tiniest winery I've ever been to. Hearing him explain why he continues to make just 5,000 bottles a year (of incredible wine I might add—try the flagship blend) rather than expand and go commercial, was truly inspiring. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Esther's tour was very good. We sampled many impressive wines, and each stop was memorable and picturesque. An excellent trip and enjoyable day. Thanks Esther.

I had a really great time on the tour. Esther was a wonderful guide. Not only did we sample about 20 different types of wines, but we also explored Ramat HaNadiv and the lovely town Zichron Yaakov. Like Jake, my favorite part of the tour by far was the Smadar Winery and meeting Motty. Motty has a lovely bed and breakfast there, too! A day to be remembered, for sure.
